Product Description
A bad hairday like no other!
In the middle of winter, in a tucked-away town,
Where the snow never seemed to stop coming down,
In a mountain-sized house, the color of sky,
Lived a girl with thick hair that took too long to dry.
So begins this delightfully irreverent tale, written in the tradition of Dr. Seuss. When a spirited little girl named Ruthie Bon Bair refuses to dry her wet hair before bedtime, she is plagued by an unusual host of difficulties—plants and flowers and other outrageous items begin to sprout from her scalp! As her condition escalates, Ruthie and friends attempt to control the growing vegetation in her hair, but not without some surprising, and hilarious, results. . . .

I absolutely fell in love with this book. Even as an adult, I found myself relating to the imagery that was brought forth through the rhyming and illustrations. It’s written and provides a message in such a way that both children and adults will find themselves identifying and chuckling throughout. What a talented author!

This is an absolutely WONDERFUL book! I always tell my kids that all of our actions have consequences. This fun book written in whimsical rhyme teaches that lesson in a clever way. It might even get your child to listen to whatever it is you may be nagging them about! It is very rare these days to find a book that is truly enjoyable to both kids and adults alike. This is one of those books, sure to be a hit with the kids and one that you won’t mind reading to them over and over again! I especially like the surprise ending. It catches the kids off guard and gives them even more to laugh about. I look forward to the next book from this newly discovered, wonderful author! If you haven’t read the book, go out and buy it…you won’t regret it!
